TRFSA is looking for board members and coaches. We need your help to make TRF Soccer a success. There are multiple board member positions open and every team needs a coach so there are plenty of opportunities to help.

Soccer Program Details
Minikicks:
Minikicks is meant as an introduction to soccer. The players are 3-4 years old, must be potty-trained, and meet one night a week to play. There are no formal games at this age group.

U6 & U8 Recreational Teams:
The focus of recreational teams is individual development and equal playing time.
Our recreational players are ages 5-8 and play two nights a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Scores are not kept. Players are coached by volunteer parent/coaches and practices last for roughly 1 hour.

U10-U18 Travel Teams:
Our summer travel program is for players age 9 and above.
Teams travel to play competitively against other area teams. Players ages 9-10 travel for games on Saturdays and play in a round robin format (2-3 games). Players ages 11 and above play on weeknights and occasionally a Saturday/Sunday.

Interested in being a coach? Have coaching experience? That's great! Never coached but want to get involved? That's great too! Please contact Juan Ortega (trfsoccerpresident@gmail.com) if you are interested. We have tons of resources and help to get your started or take your coaching to the next level. Coaches receive one registration reimbursement for their time.
Interested in being a referee?
We are looking for referees! Please contact Juan Ortega (trfsoccerpresident@gmail.com) if you are interested. Training is available. Referees are a paid position! If you missed the spring deadline, there are opportunities to get your referee training done over the summer so you can coach in the fall or next year.

About Us
Our mission is to provide a safe and encouraging environment for youth soccer players to develop their soccer skills and develop valuable life skills. The Thief River Falls Soccer Association (TRFSA) works to provide the necessary facilities and tools in order for our players to have the best experience possible.
Our club was established in 2003 in order to provide soccer for Thief River Falls and the surrounding areas. We are an affiliate member of the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) and United States Youth Soccer (USYS). We are a volunteer run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation registered through the state of Minnesota.
